The word technology is used to describe “the methods of application of the principles of something, as opposed to mere knowledge of the thing itself.” The principles Mr. Hubbard developed provide solutions to many of society’s most difficult problems.

It is the workability of this secular technology in its broad application that has united both Scientologists and non-Scientologists alike since the 1960s to effectively arrest the decline of our society and rid the world of its devastating social ills.

Saving Children from the Ravages of Drugs Each year, more than 3 million young people ages 10 to 14 try illegal drugs. This is a crisis which threatens the very fabric of our nation. For more than a decade one man has dedicated himself to saving children's lives by providing them with what he calls "little pieces of truth" about the dangers of illegal substances.
